Norwich Union’s combined buildings and contents policy covers you for a wide range of incidents such as theft and loss, or damage caused by flood, storm, lightning, fire and subsidence, as well as damage to services. They also include property owners’ liability cover.

The Norwich Union cover includes replacing goods on a ’new for old’ basis for most items (except clothes and linen). If you accidentally damage your TV, video, audio and audio-visual equipment, or your home computer, it will be covered.

Norwich Union are currently offering their full cover home insurance for half the price. The half price discount applies to all new Norwich Union Direct Buildings and Contents policies when you have a 5 years’ no claims discount for your current buildings and contents insurance*. If you are not eligible for this offer you will qualify for a 15% online discount.

With NUD home insurance, you could also opt for our Legal Services cover to help you pay legal fees in a wide range of situations, from consumer disputes to personal residence disputes to personal injury (including medical negligence).

* The discount is for the whole of the first year and applies to the risk element of the premium – not the £51 administration costs or any optional covers you might choose to include. There is a minimum premium, and this may mean that you won’t receive the full discount.
